Over the years we've noticed that many customers will not replace their 12 volt battery until the battery is dead. This is the battery that will start your vehicle. Many won't think or know to change their batteries until that cold faithful morning when it's still dark out and you're in a big hurry to get somewhere. Suddenly you turn the key to find your car won't start! 

In my experience a battery is normally good for the first 4 to 5 years. In the 8 to 10 year period of owning your car, you will have to replace your battery at least once. To better prepare for this I suggest you purchase a new battery once your vehicle reaches this time frame.
